Gutter covers should help water enter the gutter.
A gutter cover that blocks debris but sheds water over the front of the gutter is not solving the problem. The best cover for a home depends on roof pitch, debris type, gutter size, and how much water enters the run.
Woodstock homes with leaves, pine straw, and oak debris often need more careful guard selection than a basic screen can provide.
When cover repair makes sense
Repair may make sense when the guard system is generally working but has a loose, bent, or damaged section. We also check whether the gutter underneath is clean and sloped correctly.
When replacement is smarter
If the guards clog constantly, allow debris into the gutter, overflow in normal rain, or are incompatible with the roof pitch and debris load, replacing the cover system may be the better answer.
